Aim: The delegate will learn how to develop their coaching skills and be able to identify the essential skills of effective coaching.

By the end of this module the delegate can:

• Explain what coaching is
• Describe when coaching is effective
• Demonstrate one suitable situation for coaching
• Name two work based areas that provide opportunities for coaching
